Meiyuan Dried Red Prune – $5.00

This is a preserved dried fruit that is a wonderful “infusion” into Chinese rice wine.  Though wine purists would scoff at this type of drinking behavior, Shaoxing residents, particularly the women, have placed a dried prune in their wine for hundreds, maybe thousands of years, which gives it a sweeter taste.
